Character List: Denise, Justin, Denise’s Parents, Justin’s Brother, Justin’s Moms Two young characters fall in love but they found out that there families are not qiute cordial. Her brother actually was killed during the 90s LA Riots. Her parents are holding a grudge against the police as the investigation goes on. No one knows yet but the family of grief is aware that the new guy their daughter is with gives them a bad vibe. He however does not know that her brother is dead. Denise’s brother a straight A student who recently was caught in the crossfire between the police because, of his friends. However, Justin does not know about her brother but with his father being a cop he does not hold the same animosity. While Justin is caught up in the everyday street life trying to hide it from his dad. After Denise’s parents find out that Justin is the son of one of the police officers they are instantly disgusted and forbid him from coming into their home or being around their daughter. Denise is forced to make a decision either turn her back on her parents because, they will never forgive the police officer or tell Justin why she cant be with him Denise: Hello Mom and Dad this is my new boyfriend Justin Justin: Hello nice to meet you all Denise Dad: He just looks like a punk Denise Mom: Don’t be so rude you just met the boy5 Dad Well I have no interest in relationships after whats been going on around here lately. Justin: I apologize if I came across the wrong way Mom : He didn’t mean it things have just been a little tense lately since the passing of her brother. Denise: Lets not talk about that mom Mom: *Silence Denise: Come on Justin we should get to the movies before its too late.Prod.
